In August, the RA & GA children enjoyed learning about life in Southeast Asia. Through guest speakers and hands-on activities, the children learned “what is the same” and “what is different” for children living in America and S.E. Asia. The evening concluded with a tasty cultural food experience: fresh pineapple, mango, papaya, veggies and two food items eaten every day by many Southeast Asians – rice and fish (did we mention, we opted for the goldfish version 🙂 ).
